Vermont's Heroin Problem

Heroin Maintenance is the only answer! The FDA needs to give doctors access to the Poppy plant to make safe therapeutically designed drugs to be prescribed at a reasonable legal price...Problem solved. We never had a problem with drugs until we banned them and/or began enforcing the ban in the 50s. Poppy and Coca and Pot and derivatives have been with the human race since the dawn of our history. And while it is true that certain individuals have always over used these drugs to their own detriment, it is also true that society as a whole has never been harmed by these drugs/plants until society attempts to ban them. The drug war is exactly like the tragedy of the Prohibition of alcohol. Wake up America, we're killing ourselves with bad cures to non-problems!
